taking a break from sewing room work today
didn't even wash the curtains as I'd planned
however
I added a backing and signed a hooked chairpad
finished stitching on the wool backing strips on one rug
starting on another
and
cut out some wool applique shapes
progress vs procrastination

ReplyDeleteI'm already thinking ahead for my next rug and plan (for now) to have a geometric using worms in a sorta hit and miss.
ReplyDeleteUh clean?#*! Did some wash, changed sheets and finally vacuumed again today....oh even dusted a room. Then my back started to hurt so stopped. Seemed line a good enough reason for me.
I just love that last hit and miss rug!

ReplyDeleteThat antique sampler is gorgeous!! I just picked up some beautiful red floss at a shop. Hmmm....maybe a new sampler will be in the works!! Oh my gosh...those rugs are wonderful!! To blasted hot to do anything but stitch!!
