When my father first came to live with us, I gave up stitching altogether. It was just too hard to concentrate on him and count at the same time. Now that he is bedridden, I have gotten out of the habit and sometimes forget that I DO stitch. I've picked up a few other crafts that take less brain work...quilting and punch needle. Cutting fabric is my quiet time and punch needle is totally a no-brainer. Life is not easy, hang in there.
