I have been doing this since new year's and it is freeing I have sent bags and boxes out of this house I know I could do more as there is always way to much stuff.

Since I moved last November I've been throwing things away. BUT there are those things (lots of them)that I just can't decide what to do with!! After 40 years of selling my work and over 30 doing shows, there's tons of little this & that things that I may or may not use again. THEN there's all those Rubbermaid tubs, baskets & any other possible type of container full of scraps of wool & MANY other types of fabric that I can never seem to part with!! This new place is still not unpacked and put together the way I'd like it to be in my mind. Doing it all alone I'm not sure that I'll live long enough for it to happen LOL!!!!
Already did the closets at Christmas. But maybe I can go through cupboards for bowls, pans, and utensils, towels, sheets, household, for the women starting over at the shelter.
I think it is a wonderful idea but I don't have 40 items, already cleaned out the closets.
I give them to my brother who helps out at a shelter in the city, so the last bag was coats.
We got a box at church and put money in each day, so if I decide not to stop for a coffee, I can take that money and put it in the box, so a fun way to help and it goes to buy food for others.
