even if it's roasting outside
I'm still in the mood for pumpkin bread
Mom's church cookbook from the 70's went missing
a few years ago
it had the perfect pumpkin bread recipe
I keep checking Pinterest
to see if I recognize anything...
I haven't baked any yet
might be too detrimental to my blood sugar
we made ours with ground walnuts and dried craisins
(a switch from raisins)
it had a pinch of clove...
Anyone else going crazy for pumpkin?

Woman, you have my mouth watering. Hope someone who has the same recipe book will read your blog and give you (us) the recipe.
ReplyDeleteMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
ReplyDeleteLooks deeeeelicious!!! I have never made a loaf of anything in my entire life...every year I say I'm going to make zucchini or banana bread...haven't done it yet in 46 years of marriage!
ReplyDeleteNo I don't but we have been using pumpkin creamer for a week now.

I wish I could eat that, but you need too many ingredients I can't eat and not something you can modify.
ReplyDeleteI have my mom's church book too, they always had the best recipes and I have Bill's mom's, fanny farmer book, another timeless recipe book.
