just came out of the dryer
the first one Mom made for me in 1979

figured it was time to start using all my quilts
especially
 the ones with hideous bright fabrics

    It may not be your colors, but it is made with love and I know that means more to you.
    My kitties have long claws too and they hate being clipped. Moki is the worst since his are a lot thicker, but I figured if I sneak up while he is sleeping, I can get a couple at a time, lol.

    I agree with Debbie; that quilt was made with colors available at the time and am sure it means much more to you today. Your mom will be with you in spirit when you use it.

    Cherish every minute with Oliva. Am enjoying my Grandmothers quilts--not my color choices and some day some one will be saying that about my quilts.
