every day it's the same thing
Olivia must get in to the towel cupboard
in the hall
directly across from the sewing room
is a built in set of drawers
topped with two doors with three shelves inside
Olivia loves it
as soon as she hears me open a door
she comes flying in to the hallway
only to stop when she sees she's missed her chance
when the cupboard is empty
I'll let the cats jump in to roam around
it gets cleaned before towels go in again
(I know where their cootie bug paws have been)
she is relentless in her drive to open the doors
daily she ascends the drawers
complaining to me all the while
the cupboard is directly behind my back
when I'm at the computer...
so she knows
I know
what she's up to
Melrose likes the cupboard too
he's happy to wait until
I leave the doors open...
he can open the lower kitchen cupboard
doors by himself
and frequently does
Cats...never a dull moment
Next to empty boxes... drawers are a cat's favorite place to be! Cozy!
