nearly done
stitching the top together
the color is better in person
but it's still quite boring
too ho-hum to even call neutral

Mom suggested some changes
nope
just going to finish the top and move on
next ...
Yeah, I have a few "what was I thinking" projects. I don't even bother to expend the energy to finish them. Give yourself permission to release yourself from this burden.

All quilts look blah, until you put it all together and quilt it, then it is a beautiful quilt;)

Good evening, Kelley. Hmmm...a little color blah, but all quilts are beautiful at heart. I usually judge a quilt by how warm it is!! LOL
ReplyDeleteWow I love it too
ReplyDeleteLove and smiles x
I like it......... love the browns!!
ReplyDeleteYou may think its boring but I still think it's a beauty! AND - I REALLY like it, just think...you can pair it up with one of your other quilts with more color & this baby will make a great background quilt!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sewing, Tammy
Hey Kells! What if you added a couple thin stripes of pale brownish pink to your seam lines that are left? If wouldn't be much extra work and would really compliment the Browns! I know you're not a big pink girl...but betchya you would like the quilt more if you did! :) it would look so prim and soft! Xo Bren
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I must be blah, because I am really loving this. (Is there something wrong with me???) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
