this love we share
of fabric and stitching quilts
never ends
Mom and Ann enjoy seeing my work in progress
wishing that their hands were able to join in
they are able to enjoy
seeing my patches turn into a quilt top
admiring my small stitches
commenting on all the fabrics
lucky for us
my stash of unfished projects is deep and wide
these patches were stitched over 3 years ago
waiting for the right time to come to life
they are anxious to see
the next fabric I choose for the alternating blocks
there is not enough of the original one
am going to take a few in
so they can help me decide
Mom says "no pink"
So nice that mom and Ann share their opinions with you.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful so far and I'm sure it will get even better.
Happy Saturday in 50* and sunny Ohio. I LOVE IT! (But is will soon end...boo hoo.)

I like how the fabrics look together. I think I had that color in stash you gave me but I used it in a quilt.
ReplyDeleteWaiting to see when the new machine comes in, then I can decide if i want to wait or go for the demo model, can't wait to start quilting all the tops I have.
Debbie

ReplyDeleteSending you big hugs x
I like your mom's taste.... ;o) Truly is wonderful that they still enjoy some of the best joys in life... Good luck with your medical tests and the exercise program... I so should...she says as she stuffs a piece of fudge in her mouth.... Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteLol, you have to listen to your Mom. No pink :)
ReplyDeleteI love the darker ground and the little check. And also seeing the "judges".

ReplyDeleteNo pink, Mama knows best :)

So thoughtful and lovely they are able to be a part of the quilt even though they can't stitch it.
