Bad Days

 


 
Mom has been having a bad week
she has a UTI
which causes altered mental status
 
adding an antibiotic means
changes in her other meds...mainly her antidepressant
 
she's fine until late afternoon
then her feisty, cranky and angry side comes out
ugh
so sorry she has to go through this
communicating with her doctor is impossible
 
yesterday I showed her this photo
pretty much knowing her reaction ahead of time
 
" he might be a good looking man if he cut that hair
no wonder he's having a bad day"

    Sorry your mom is sick and having to redo her meds, I know how much stress that can be on her and her mood, and hard for you to see her like that. Hugs and prayers that she will heal quickly.

    I am very sad for you and your mom, Kelley. Some days, it feels like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. All you can do is hold on tight and get through it minute by minute.

    Hope your mom is doing better and hope you are hanging in there. Hey, I'm an old broad but think Johnny Depp is gorgeous. He has great bone structure and cleaned up or messy I'm still a fan.
