This is my first version of Winter Solstice...before Mom made hers and gave it to me...mine still needs quilted...am also working on another of these quilts...my favorite block to stitch, it's from an older OOP Jan Patek book..
The second quilt is called Sundance, named after a quilt seen in the catalogue of the same name somewhere in the mid 90s...four of us did this quilt around the same time...mom, aunt and sister...mine is probably the only one needing a border and quilting...once I got started rug hooking my fabrics got packed away except for craft show dolls and such...
After years away and picking up my stitching again and working on finishing some of the UFOs...
