The Black Cupboard

I just love this cupboard...bought it a year ago and it's been in the breezeway holding many of my fall treasures...will be changing this "room" to the Americana room as soon as I get the chance...

Am hoping to find a new painted cupboard or two in May when I go to a local show...will take a picture of the red cupboard from previous post once I get the couch out from in front of it...that one is about 10 years old and just gorgeous...both made by the same man, John Robinson...

Rosemary,

As far as I know he only sells at their two shows a year and locally...they used to do Shaker Woods Festival and gave that up a few years ago...He and his wife have two shows a year in the barn/studio and it is wonderful...they have other crafter's displaying their goods and have a huge turnout ...and there is a house tour too...Wendy, his wife, hooks the most primitive rugs and the house is early prim style...

Is it the same wendy that sells rug patterns? Rosemary

not, that's Wendy from The Red Saltbox...these folks are up in my area at the other side of the state...and this Wendy does outrageously prim rugs...you'd have to see them to believe them...very simple designs and they look 100 years old...
