Hooked this one during the Christmas season of 2004 for my mom...Chester was very sick and getting over his surgery and recuperating on my lap...I remember having to pick him up from the vet's early Christmas Eve...a Friday and being so worried about him being ok during the weekend...spent that first night on the floor sleeping on a blanket so he could lean on me...he had that little plastic collar on and was so sad...
barely left the house for a few hours on Christmas Day...
...will have to get a picture of the rug I hooked for him that week after Christmas...call it the pee pod rug cause of course he was so "dribbly"after surgery...it's his rug and he loved sleep on it while I tried to hook...so of course I would sleep in the chair with the frame on my lap and him on the frame...
Oh, back to the rug, you know me and my Chester tangents...this was a pattern from Notforgotten Farm and a joy to hook...in my top 10 of favorite rugs...

This is another one of your rugs that I just LOVE!!! That background sky color is to dye for! Absolutely yummy! Seems that the rugs you hook with churches are always some of my favorites!!!
