Thanks to all who comment and email about Chester...there are so many cat and animal lovers out there...I enjoy reading other blogs with pet photos too...This is an older photo of him, one of my favorites...when filling my shelves with wool and backings I try to leave some small spaces for him to hang out in...he loved to sleep here and it was a safe spot to "hide" from visitors...

Kelley - What cool mats! They look really sturdy - like they'd hold up to heavy use. Maybe you can post a picture some time of the frame used to make them on.....

the mats are great but must be hand washed...
