Sewing Pocket

Something recently made from my stash of Americana fabric...lined the three flags with fabric and stitched three sides to the backing leaving the top open...can be pinned to the arm of the overstuffed chair where I hook and stitch...pockets hold scissors, hooks and punch needle...
The back...little pocket for packets of sewing needles...the red fabric was not printed on the grain that's why it looks so uneven...I prefer to stitch on the grain rather than the design...

And what post would be complete without him...he was peacefully sleeping on his bench in the breezeway on his wool blanket...

Looks great - I'm a sucker for all things Americana. Even more so when it's so useful *s*

Hey Kelley...the sewing pocket is way too cool! What a great idea! Happy Hooking (and sewing and quilting and PN'ing and everything else). LOVE the photos of Chester...he's looking good.
