Hooking and Wool

a little sneak peek

at my current hooking project

the rest of the rug
is log cabin quilt blocks

as for the wool
it's some from Mom's house

she gave me a huge bag full
to share with a friend
from work that braids rugs

got to go through it first
and pull what I wanted

the green wool used to be
a wonderful light blue
until I overdyed it...
will overdye again
and see what happens

don't worry my friend
is being shorted on the wool

there is an
abundance from my stash
to share
wool to heavy to hook with

will take a pic tomorrow
when it's all in one spot

this weekend my eBay group
is having an
online
Little Quilt Retreat

patchwork
applique
hooking
penny rug
needlepunch

so far there
are at least three
in progress at my house

I know that is going to be beautiful when you are done. So fun to get older wool for hooking, can't beat the prim look.

The sneak peak is looking awesome. You sound like me one project at a time is never enough!
