Unpacking Standstill

~ The Wool Room ~

hmmm... it's hard to be creative when I look in here

just a little more work and the room

will be neat and tidy

~The Living Room ~

where should I start?

some of these things are going back to the garage for donations to the garage sale next month

some need to go to the wool room

and I'm tired of fixing the quilts on the ladder... the cats seem to prefer them pulled to the floor

really Kelley?

what is this still doing in the kitchen the plastic container

with most of it's contents go to the garage sale donation the other pieces should be easy to find a spot for

Can you tell I'm tired of unpacking? it won't take long to finish up instead I've been tripping over boxes for more than a week... at least it gives the cats something to jump over hide behind and run around

Maybe this weekend...

OMG! Kell! And I though I had a lot of Wool!!
Sit down...... breathe very deeply....... exhale slowly... keep repeating until you are relaxed and energized!

Ugh I feel your pain - I can well image how overwhelming it is especially if you'd rather sit and do something fun! Wow love all your wool and those wire baskets - really cool! I bet Olivia and Melrose think they are helping you with removing the quilts - they probably don't want you to trip over a quilt if you need to climb the ladder!

Looks like a lot to deal with, take a break and start fresh another day.

It's funny about unpacking and organizing...sounds so good in theory, then it's quite a lot of work. I agree with others...choose one good piece to tackle at a time...then maybe a little reward?
Works for me!

Love peeking into your wool room! Who says you have to do all your unpacking before you can create? They clearly don't understand about balance. (although their home is undoubtedly more neat than ours)!

The weekend is always a possibility, but honor your own feelings. If having it squared away is what you most desire it will happen. If you have done enough for now to feel like home, then just deal with those things that you are still sending to the donation of your choice. Enjoy this new home!

Wow, I would love to have all that wool! I could just come and get it and then you wouldn't have to worry about straightening it up! :-)

Looks good to me! Think of that big pile of wool as an easy chair... and sit down in it and relax a stitch! :-)
