A Little Hooking

there has been some progress on my

antique reproduction rug...heading around the third corner today...

will start adding more color soon...

the only bad part is hooking on monks cloth

the pattern has two crows and a vase with flowers

something that's not "me" anymore...

there is some reverse hooking to be done too

it's been warm today...upper 60's

so the cats got a bit of fresh air

nice for me too

love to hear the birds and the wind blowing

before a storm

Your antique rug is so nice ! What you are hooking now looks great too, but what is reverse hooking ? I have never heard of that .....

Every time I hook on Monks I swear never to do it again! LOL
Love the kitty's getting some fresh air..... I want to open the windows soooooo bad! It's still only 40 degrees here yet!
Can't wait to see more of that rug!

Too cold for open windows here, too! Sooooo, why are you hooking on monk's cloth? I can't wait to see what you're doing...the corner is very enticing! {grin}

Looking forward to seeing more! I only hooked on monk's cloth once and hated it!
Hugs :)

I just found you. We must be kindred spirits. I love cats--we have one and feet two ferral ones in our garage. I am a quilter and a rug hooker. Good to meet you!

Hmmm, loving the way the crow was hooked on this bit of the rug, but since I'm reading down, know you aren't planning on keeping it. I keep trying to figure out a better way to do birds. Love him...

I just bought 5 yds of Monks Cloth after reading Ginger's tips for the Oxford Punch. Jonut strikes again, sounds like I may have gone overboard. lol
