A New Quilt

here's my new quilt from Mom

I meant to set in on the counter

for a few minutes

then hang it on the quilt ladder...

Olivia is so happy there

maybe she thinks if she stays

very clean

I'll leave the quilt there for her

~surprise~

tomorrow it's going on the ladder

( I'll put something else in it's place for her)

It was a rough visit with Dad yesterday
he really wants to come home...
who can blame him

Dad will be 88 this Friday...

I'm heading over for a visit this morning

with an out of town newspaper

and a few potato chips

too bad I can't sneak Melrose in...

What a beautiful quilt, and all by hand, she does such beautiful work. I hope your dad gets better soon, not fun being stuck in the facility.

I do believe that quilt isn't yours anymore! She looks content! Want to see more of it if Olivia will let you. Great pic of your parents - your Dad has a great smile and "happy eyes!" So cute! Happy Birthday to him!

The quilt is just fabulous.... colors are wonderful! Olivia looks like the "Cleocatra" bathing on luxury!!! lol!
I received the booklet of designs and I am so excited to start hooking them! Now if you could send a few free hours to go along I'd be all set! Thank-you Kelley!

Don't they let pets visit in the home? I have a nursing home picked out for my mum (she has dementia) that allows pet visits. They even allow residents to bring their pets as long as they are able to care for and clean up after them. My mum is crazy for little dogs.
