Ho Hum

" Ho Hum"

is how I feel about these blocks

for a little quilt

they are lacking interest...

to me it they need more dark fabric

what do you think?

this little quilt

was inspired by one

I saw somewhere online...

it was a mix of light colors

with patchwork stars

where my large squares are

those square will have wool pumpkins

appliqued on after the quilting...
this one I'm quite happy with!

I love it, I think the colors look like late fall/ cozy winter to me. Love the other little piece too, just precious!

It depends on what you plan on doing with it. They always look better with stitching and stain;) I like a little pop of color, here and there.

I think they are the perfect backdrop for some applique!!! How Fun!!

I love both, and think it will be so prim once you sew a border on it and stitch like the other one.

Hey Kelley, love the mix of dark/medium dark/light fabrics! Gives the blocks movement and a place for the eye to rest. Add two more and make a cute wall quilt! If it needs a home, I'll volunteer mine! ;-) This is definitely my color palette.

they both look positively spontaneous to me & will look even better after the tea-staining!

I like the colors. Very prim and scrappy looking.
