Reverse Hooking

here's a sneak peek of my current hooking project

before

I reverse hooked all but the background

I was trying to go with the original colors

(see rug in today's header photo)

but it wasn't working for me

this is our Pattern of the Quarter project

in my ebay group

I'll have another photo next weekend
~~~~~
for our next project
(beginning April 1)
I'll choose from one of the
following three antique rugs for inspiration
I'll be sharing the pattern
(April 1)
on the blog if you'd
like to hook or punch along with us...
~~~~~

It's a cozy day here

with about 6" of snow

cold with sunshine

perfect for hooking and stitching

today I'm cutting out textured wool mittens

hand piecing quilt blocks

puttering around

yesterday I was a hermit

other than feeding the birds I stayed in...

I love the first one, that would be fun to do.
I got outside and skied, but no crafting today, being lazy and giving my hands a rest.

Wow...that's a lot of hooking quarter-wise....And really - you reverse hooked everything but the background? I was liking the colors.... Can't wait to see it "after".....Fun selections to be looking forward to....Hmmmm....I'm sensing a "house" theme.... ;o) Hope your week is off to a great start! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Kelley,
I'd love to hook along with you or your next project rug. I love those antiques you have pictured, and always enjoy your blog.

Sounds like you have an exciting project(s) going. Hope you share the results for all to see.
I love antique rugs. The second house is great, the one you have list possibly for next time.
