in your stitching and avoiding pressing seams...
I do not recommend this
though it has been my M.O. for years
one reason why I have so many quilt tops needing quilting
pressing seams as I go
it's a dream to put together
it'll be ready for quilting in no time
it'll be ready for quilting in no time
filled with patches it goes in my tote bag
to work and visiting...
no idle hands for me
with the lid snapped on
no cats dragging the pincushion around

I hand pieced a bunch of block parts without pressing one time. A lesson learned. Way too hard to ever get it to lay flat waiting to the end for pressing.
I love your new quilt and I also learned the hard way on pressing when I took my first and only quilting class. I just don't iron!
I usually press by finger when I hand sew, seems to work for me and i am too lazy to get up and go to the sewing room;)

Kelly, love the blue and white quilt top. I sure know what you mean about cats and pincushions, thread, etc. Love the antique hooked rug in the header, is that yours?

ps: do you know that you have that nasty word verification thing for comments? blogger now puts two unreadable words.
