Reuse and Redo

finally getting back to hooking

using the backing and wool

from the antique inspiration rug

that went no where

this will be long and scrappy

maybe with a word in the middle

remember this quilt

two color

I fell in love with?

well my top is done

but needs redone...

I had added 3" borders

decided they were too wide

so instead of trimming them a bit

I whacked them off...far too much

so the borders have to come off

to be replaced with about 2 1/2" pieces

live and learn...

*****

Don't forget the next

Antique Inspiration pattern

will be here April 1st...

I hope you plan to hook

or punch along with

the ladies from my AAPG group

Hi Kelley - Can ANYONE use the antique inspiration pattern? I think it would be so fun to participate in your challenge!

Kelley. I actually like the borders just the way they are. I presume that quilt is all hand-pieced. I am doing a hand-pieced doll quilt...more doable and fun than I ever thought. Not that I'll quit using my Naomi Janome...but I was surprised...and pleased! Anyway. Looking forward to your next project.

Your hooking is so well done - perfectly spaced....sigh. I'm a "packer." I sooooo need to get back in the groove. Love your quilt.... Happy, happy, Spring!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Love the blue quilt. The fabric looks so old. I like the new challenge design, it looks kinda hard to me but will be fun trying!
