Hello, found your very enjoyable blog, love the bee skeps to. I think you need a star, everyone loves a star, tee hee. Blessings Francine.
I love seeing a beeskep in a garden with flowers. I vote flower :)
Wow...Those are some amazing skeps - and skep houses!! I LOVE them....Hmmmm....sight unseen, I vote bird....a very black crow would be especially nice. ;o) How generous of you! Smiles & Monday Hugs ~ Robin
OMG!!!! Now have to find that Chessie and Me pattern!!! I love beeskeps and bumble bees... and flowers... :-)
those are such cool bee skeps.
I vote for a bee of course, and a bird because I love watching birds.
To the right of the flower I would put a little tiny black crow. Of course I would say that since we live on "Old Crow Farm"! HA Love it! Sher
Those bee skeps do that to me too! Oh Kell.... you tickle my fancy with your generosity! A star flower with kitty maybe? Can't wait to see it!!
Hugs!

Beautiful skeps! I think bee skeps in a garden remind us of a simpler time.
A black crow gets my vote.
Robyn
Oh love those bee skeps. I would love to see a star, Love stars!!

I love bee skeps too. I think flowers would be nice to add to it.
I really like it as it is though--a very simple design.
Christine
Such beautiful pics! So inspiring! I vote bees, they are so amazing. You could add just a bit of black representing bees or oversized bees too big for the skep - that is the beauty of folk art :)
Blessings, Patti
Oh Kelly, you are so awsome, drawing and hooking those cute cats, I think you would find a place to put a cat or cats with the bee skep. Karin
I love a hooked bee skep! My vote a coiled bee's buzzing around!
Kelley, Since I ADORE your cats, I would love to see a kitty and a flower!!
Linda
I like the idea of a bird, but I can't enter, think that is illegal, lol.
Debbie
I also have this thing with bee skeps and unfortunately mine looked so good outside they eventually became part of the earth.
My thoughts are to pick up a little wired bee trinket at Jo-Annes (or somewhere)and have it hovering above the area designated for the skep.
Would LOVE to have a chance to win the finished rug.
Saundra
How about putting your little hooked skep in a little hooked house? like the one in your first picture? that way, it won't get wet when it rains, like it's doing here today :)
whatever you shoose will be sweet as honey, i'm sure!
~Lori
I would love to see a bee on a flower.
Love your first picture with the skeps under the roof. So pretty.
Becky
I think some flowers and bees would be so sweet!!! I love bee skeps!!!
I think I'd have to say sight unseen, that it should have a black crow. Birds and bee skeps just seem to go together!
The bee skeps are lovely... and I adore that pattern! Now ya got me thinking of something with bees & honey!
Can you post a picture of it? Maybe that would help. I am stitching a wool applique piece that has a flower hanging over a bee skep. Is there room to hook a little bee buzzing around? :-)
Also love bee skeps. I think couple of BEES would look great. Enjoy your blog.
You know my love of anything red. I would add a touch of a couple prim flowers in reds with tiny gold accents and a couple bee's of course! Maybe the flowers could just the the essence of red flowers........with tiny gold centers?
Automatically, that feels like a homey piece.
Good Luck to all of us.
P.S. Are you surprised I did not suggest a crow? :-)
I would love to see a honeysuckle vine with little flowers intertwined. Possibly around the bottom right corner?

I too, love bee skeps - in all their forms. I have a few myself, but I'm afraid to put them out in the yard cuz I think the sprinklers & rain & sun will ruin them too quickly. BUT what's the point of keeping them in the garden shed? Sigh - - - -
Bee skeps are wonderful! I think some bees a buzzing and a few pretty flowers would be nice.
Your bee skeps are so inspiring! I think adding flowers at the base and bees buzzing around would be a perfect setting. I always enjoy your blog...and the cats!
LOVE me a beeskeep. I've done very well restraining myself on buying them lately, but I feel another surge coming yet again. Love the idea of stitching a sampler with them on!
