Recharging

every day last week was hot
we were very busy at work
and
I stoved or broke my pinky toe on Monday...

heat totally drains me
and makes me incredibly cranky

so at home I just rested

the cats are always ready
to help at nap time

this is what I felt like

 every single day

at least I'm not covered in fur...

* * * * *

this week is starting out much cooler
my toe can fit in to my shoe...
it's my weekend off
so I've been resting and stitching

after my nap
I'm even going to try
to get the computer and camera
to cooperate with each other
(again)

Hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Yikes...those photos make me SSSSLEEEPY!! ;o We had the hot stickies the first part of last week, but after (numerous) severe storms, a cold front moved in....back to low to mid 70's and hoodies for me..... Hope your toe feels better soon (owie!!) Happy new week ahead! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Ouch! I broke three toes last summer when I dropped a rock on my foot! I sympathize! Take it as a sign to slow down and relax! :)

Loved the kitty pictures.

I, too, hope your toe is better! I have broken several. The best thing I ever did was take my poor foot to an accupuncturist. He stuck a couple needles in it......used his little burning cigar thingee on it.......and once he was finished, I put my shoe on and walked out, with no limp. It was a really bad break that bruised my foot, as well as my toe. But I walked, solidly, out of his office.
Something to consider. In the meantime......put a Hello Kitty bandaid on it. It will make you feel better.
