It has been about 10 years since my mom broke her hip. After the surgery, keep up with the physical therapy because that's how she will regain her ability to walk. My thoughts are with you, Mary A

My gosh, your family needs some good news for a change. This is terrible news and I hope you can deal with what comes in the next few days with the surgery. I hope your Mom does well.

When it rains it pours! A broken hip is definitely salt in the wound, for all that has been going on.

As we age, we become so much more vulnerable, and fragile, and our senses less sharp. That just sucks!

My heart is filled with prayers for you and your parents, and guilt at having been away from your blog for so long. School started, Livvie got the flu, And so on... I hope you are as strong as you sound in your postings. Cyber Hug
