Moving On

I know Jillian meant this for workouts
it works for everything else
too

Mom has been wanting to try
wool applique
so I prepped this for her yesterday
red bird on black

It appears she will be returning
to needle turn cotton any minute...
not a good time
to move out of her comfort zone

«««««««

some fabric I ordered online last week
arrived today
while I was at work
Mom said she opened it to see
then put a note on it
reminding me I'd told her she could
open packages addressed to me

she cracks me up
when she talks to the cats
at the end of her sentences she says
OK?

I met Dad at the hospital
for his pre surgery testing
and wound treatment appointment
both went as well as could be expected
two hours is a long visit for him
plus the ride here and back
to the nursing home

where his room mate has been
a real grump lately
he is always complaining about everything
we think it's been brought on by
jealousy

we visit Dad at least once a day
fuss over him
bring him treats
and treats for the aides...

of course we include Ed
but he has to grumble
today Dad says he wants a new room
he is tired of the
bad attitude directed towards him

Always Something

We do need to see the humor in things, it gets us through the tough times;) That would be a fun little project for your mom.

Oh, I laughed at your banner !
I have had a few of those days, where I just went to bed, so that when I woke up, I had a fresh new start !!!
