Slowly Getting There

up to my neck in chores
ugh...dishes!!!

going through Mom's
baskets and tins
we have uncovered
countless needles, pins and spools of thread
she wants to keep them all
just in case

very slowly
working on some hand piecing

Took the time to
get a new phone today...
finally a smartphone
only
 for the camera
you've been warned
cat overload coming soon

It was the same way when we went through my mom's stuff, oh and my grandma's stuff too. Now my mom asks almost daily where something is, lol.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

There is no such thing as Kitty overload...lol

We cleaned out Granny's stuff after she would go to bed at night and trust me, she never missed anything we got rid of. If she asked we'd just say that we'd get it for her soon and then she'd forget that she even asked in just a few minutes.

Thinking about you!

I love having a camera phone, so nice to be able to take shots anywhere and I have the facebook app, so I just post, so a convenient way to post. You will have to do more cleaning when your mom is asleep, lol. I have needles everywhere and trying to figure out what is what.

hugs, and try to remember, the clearing out is not forever, just a canyon you pass through on your journey of life westward. I still smell my Mom's old shoes, sometimes, just a whiff of something takes me back to when she would hide her smelly shoes under her bed. it's been almost 14 years, but there are little triggers of smells that remind me of when we cleared out her house. of course, Coty rosey-beige face powder smell reminds me of her hugs, she never wore anything else on her face, and she was beautiful until the day she died 10 years ago. I still miss her.

I email the pics from the camera roll to myself, then open them in email on my computer. You've probably already figured out how to do it, but sharing injcase you are still working it out.
