Hooking Progress

so far with the scrappy wool
the neutrals all came from a bag
I was ready to toss out...

pay no attention to the lines in the background
that is the rejected design

no real plan in mind
for the rest of the rug...

Kelley Girl....so glad you're hooking! And, I am really liking what you're doing. As I like (read love) every single rug you have ever hooked. Happy that you are taking the time to do something for yourself. Me Mum loves to work puzzles, too.

Oh Kelley, it's so good to see you rug hooking again! Love your red birdies. Can't wait to see what else you hook in this delightful rug. What a sweet picture of your mom and the other resident working on the puzzle. Thinking of you and praying every day. Love & hugs, Lori

I love your design, Kelley!! You should go into the business of designing rug patterns...yeah...like you have time...but if you do....that's your calling!! I love the birds and the "hit and miss" Your mom looks very content. It's nice to see her with busy work and a friend.

Oh wow Kelley, your hooking looks great, as always. I hope you're enjoying the process and it's taking you mind into a quiet place. Mom looks good doing the puzzles, she will settle in. She actually might end up liking it, it will have structure for her. You are doing the right thing, but I know it's hard. Love and hugs. Cyndi

How wonderful to see your mom content with a friend and you more relaxed enough to pull a few loops. A great design you chose as it is a calming spring 'looking forward' design.

Your rug reminded me of the rug your drew for me, I think a really fun background might involve a kitty walking along a fence behind them. Or a large knothole surrounding a cat eye. Lol of course a kat wouldn't peek through a hole...

LOVE seeing that you've picked up your hook again. Jonut
