Puzzles

Mom has finally
taken a liking to puzzles...

there are many stacks around
the facility
most having too many pieces

a few have less than 50 pieces
which are not too difficult

today searching online
I found the Puzzle Warehouse

!!!

birthday money from my sister was
going to go for new scrubs
they can wait
entertainment for Mom cannot
I found 7 puzzles
(5 with 36 pieces and 2 with 63)
that should keep her busy every afternoon
when someone is visiting...

Sounds like you and your mom are well supplied with puzzles! In the future you might look at thrift shops [like Goodwill] or swap shops where you can find wonderful puzzles for just a dollar or so.

I enjoy puzzles, helps to keep that part of the brain working. I do have an angel one, never opened it, so i will save it for you and send with the next package.

Sorry to hear about your eyes, something I always worry about since loss of that means no creating.

Along with the puzzles she will soon have lots of mail with fabric pieces in them to entertain her.

Wishing you both a great week ahead.

Oh good! So happy something has peeked her interest. We always had a card table in the living room during the winter when I was growing up with a puzzle on it for anyone to work on when they felt like it. Hugs, Lori

The first couple of years Mom was sick, puzzles were our saviour. It kept her busy, entertained and kept her brain more active.

I have always enjoyed puzzles too. You can work on them for a few minutes, leave, come back.... Repeat

At the place my bee goes for retreat they have some great landscape/quilt puzzles. I've always wanted to work on one of them. This last time, I picked one I really liked and brought it back to where I was set up. Opened it and OH JOY! Whoever put it away last had put big chunks back in. I worked with all the sections, figuring out how to connect them and added the occasional piece or two. Never finished it, but loved the time I spent on it, and felt refreshed! Hope she enjoys them for a good long time....
