Simply Sidetracked

first things first
clean off the sewing room table
to have room for color planning a snowman rug
I immediately veered off course

so far
the table is a complete mess
a small trash bag is full
a medium sized cardboard box half full
of things to donate

and the rug?
see me in the morning
it's nap time

*****

those progress bars on the right?
did you notice I met my goal
to save $2014 this year
it's at $2047 with more to add before December 1

the other is over 30% funded
as it pays excellent interest
~a special celebration account offered by my credit union~

now, this may not seem exciting to you
but since 2001 it's been an uphill struggle
to get my life back on track

serious health problems can certainly
derail your life

I am so thankful

I hope you find time to hook and create again, and that this year you can relax more. Congrats on your goal. I need to start one for next summer so we can take a real vacation for our anniversary.

Sounds like you are making progress in several areas. Give yourself credit where credit is due and the table top will be cleared eventually. Good for you for sorting and cleaning out, I need to do more of that myself!

I cannot keep my table clean. I'm lucky if it lasts an hour and then it just seems to collect stuff.

Congrats on reaching your goal!!I'm so anxious to see you get back to hooking, which may lead to a pattern booklet.....and so happy that you're feeling better. Health is Wealth in so many ways.
