A Better Day

yesterday was a better day
Mom and Ann ha da good time contemplating the quilt
they both love the greens

a few more rows ready to be stitched together
no one mentioned all the pink

She hasn't been answering the phone for a few days
says it rings and rings
she knows it's my sister Deb
calling to say goodnight

Hoping I can convince her to answer it tonight
Deb misses hearing her voice...

Kelley Girl...happy that your Mom is having a better day, today. And, I am loving the quilt! It's like mine, though mine has blue where there is green. LOVE it (mine and hers)!!! xo

I am glad to hear that you both had a good day, I think the quilting helps, it is something she is familiar with and loves. I do like how the greens look and I like the pops of pink.

Kelley, thank you for stopping by my blog the other day! It was nice to see a new face! I'm over here looking around. I've a lot to say, but need to find an appropriate way to talk about how Alzheimer's scare the crap out of me. I live with my mother. Sometimes there are days when it is so frustrating... but she doesn't even have Alzheimer or dementia or any kind. I am so impressed with your care-giving, and think I can learn a great many things or two from reading your blog.

Such a pleasant looking quilt. Greens always seem to be a calming color.:)
