Mom Update

my sister Deb sent Mom her purse
it's just like mine
only not beat up and stained

she was so tickled to get it

her friend Ann looks on
thinking we are nuts for loving this purse so much!

last Sunday was World Communion Day
Mom's best friend Bea and Phyllis from our church showed up
to offer us communion

a great surprise for Mom
she and Bea have been friends since grade school

two of my favorite faces

Mom has been in a good mood lately
here we are all cracking up
after she tells Ann she can sleep on the floor

it was one of those laughs
that took over her whole body
everyone ended up laughing

Mom and Ann organizing my wool strips
they make a great team

this was on Monday
today I brought more strips
Mom said that's three times in a week
we'll start counting again tomorrow

I'm grateful every day
for the time we spend together

That is a nice purse, does she make them?
I went and bought a fake leather back pack and the stupid snap won't stay closed and then I lost the receipt, errr. Love seeing your mom laughing and enjoying herself again.
