The Base of Wool Mountain

this is a little less than half the wool strips
Mom and I have done this year
trying to divide it into basic color groups

pretty much overwhelmed me
this is spread out on a full size bed
I just have too much wool
if there is such a thing

maybe I've spent too long away from hooking
can't seem to get started...

Every time I finish one rug project, I am stuck for a while before starting the next, even if I know what the next will be. I haven't figured it out yet, but it happens. Getting started is hard, and I don't understand why.

Looks like you are ready to start at a full run on this project. Strip colors cut, separated and ready to go.

There is no such thing as too much wool ;). I find it hard to start up again after a break but lately my hook has been busy. Get cracking

Beautiful wool! You know Kelley, I hadn't hooked for awhile also and it was very hard to get started again, I don't know why that is. BUT, I do know that once I started again, it felt so good and I fell in love with rug hooking all over again. So just start. Just pull one loop!

hugs

Those are gorgeous shades, love the coloring and you can see it, even in strips, so they will work beautifully into projects. I haven't hooked in ages and want to do some projects.

Love all of that wooly goodness. Is there really such a thing as too much?

OMG...if that is too much wool, then I am in trouble! AS I have so much wool, and I just keep on buying more and more... Beautiful colors in your piles there on the bed, looking forward to see some progress! Tammy
