Friends and Quilts

what better than to find a friend
that shares your love of quilts

Mom's hand always goes to her face
when she really likes something new...
they approve of my stitches

Ann thinks I need to make a bed quilt like this
ha!
told her I'd bring her the fabric

Tomorrow I have the little Christmas present quilts
plus a hooked rug to hang in Mom's room
we'll change things out
she's been thinking about where to put each piece

my sister and her husband are here from NC
for a few days
nothing makes mom happier!

It is wonderful that she has someone to share it with and a daughter who cares enough to visit and work with her on the quilts. I am glad your sister is visiting, nice for your mom and maybe you can take a day for yourself.

They both look like they're really enjoying it.
That's a wonderful photo of them.
Hope all goes well with your family's visit.

Good morning! Very nice pictures. It is wonderful that your mom has someone to share her love of fabric. And it is wonderful that she has you...

The quilt looks so pretty. Did you have a close-up to share?

Have a good day!

It's precious that she still has a love and passion for those things....so much of my mother's passion was stripped away when she went to Assisted Living.... I have been long gone, I know...but have thought of you and your journey many, many, times.... Hoping things are well enough.... Smiles & Holiday Hugs ~ Robin
