A Rug and Mom's Arm

found this rug on Pinterest...
anyone know anything about it's designer
would love to hook one

Mom's arm yesterday
between dressing changes...
today the bruising is fading a bit
she says the pain is only once in a while

now she has a cold and is concentrating on that
turns out suckers are better than cough drops
who knew

Love the rug...Mom's arm, not so much. I know that skin tears look horrible, but this one looks especially bad. You are a very good daughter. :-)

Breaks my heart to see that, injuries can get severe when your skin is thinning out, but it looks nice and clean, so that is good. Love that rug, looks like an antique that was redone, know I have seen it somewhere, so will see if I can find it.

OMG, I also have tissue thin skin and mine has ripped before but never that bad. And of course have the bruising too but again, not like that. My heart goes out to her and you. Love that rug too and have no idea who owns the design but good luck finding out.

Oh, your poor mom! Bless her and bless you! I love that rug but I have never seen it before. I'd be curious to know the designer as well.

Kelley,

I doubt if I will ever get used to see the bruising on my parents arms and legs these days. Quite often the facility will not tell us anything about it until some family member comes and sees it. So hard to wait to find out when my parents can get up here. There is only one continuing care facility in Leon County.

take care,
trisha :)

Mom's arm looks awful. I remember my mom's looking the same way :(
I've never seen the rug but it is a fun one.
Must get off this dang machine and out in the yard!
Hugs :)
