January Catch Up

I started a new little savings account
my cats NEED a catio
like this one

Melrose taking over the hooking frame

another quilt added to the list
of pieces I must stitch

my latest hooked rug

adding to the February No Spend on supplies
sell 10 items from around the house
and
$100 grocery budget
these additions will be a challenge
especially with my empty pantry, fridge and freezer

success!
ended up being too easy

I have been cleaning out my freezer all month it was surprising just what I had in there.
I tried the no spending for rug hooking but ended up buying a piece of luggage for my hooking.

4Oh that catio is AWESOME!! We would have to redo LOTS to have anything that could accommodate something like that...and then only have a couple of months when it could be used. You know I love that kitty rug...so very sweet. And only $100 grocery money for the entire month?? Eeek...I couldn’t do that... Are you sure that’s do-able??? I don’t want you starving.... :-(

Oops...that was supposed to be “Ooooo” not “40h”....not sure how that snuck in there....

I know we spend too much on groceries, but hard with my diet to bargain hunt.
Although I think we spend more on cat and dog food, lol.
Your rug came out beautifully. I think a cat space would be nice, but these will be my last, one pet is enough.

Can people have catios?

Pasta, oatmeal, eggs, soup!

Love your cat/valentines mat ~ actually love everything you do. I've had good success selling on ebay lately, much to my surprise. My vintage feed sack material went for more than I'd expected, as did my doll parts. Sure added a few hundred dollars to help my expenses. Good luck to you.

Wow! That is a seriously awesome catio! :-) Congrats on making a full month of no spend! There is a certain sense of pride when creating from stash!

My cats determinedly shredded the screens on our screened porch when they were fairly young..NONE of our many previous cats ever TRIED to before! So put in heavy wire screening!! I miss the porch, but it's become a sunroom that's more useful....

Wow. Going 31 days with no crafty spending...impressive. I, too, need to convince my family to cut-back on the grocery spending. There are a LOT of things around the house that need fixing. Sigh. Let us know how the budget goes; maybe I will get inspired!
