Crash Recovery

as if my list wasn't long enough
 
 it didn't exactly crash
my computer got infected Sunday night
 
"foobar worm"
is what internet security said
 
now it's being cleaned, info transferred to new computer
installation of Internet at Mom's tomorrow
Geek Squad shows up Thursday morning
 
boy have I felt lost without my link
to the rest of the world!
 
thank goodness there was free computer
when I got to the library...
 
my last post was the 700th
 
all who left a comment
will be in the giveaway drawing...
 
to be done after the move
which means you'll all have forgotten by the time
I can get around to it
 
it will be something blue...

    How does that saying go.."If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all." Seems you just can't catch a break lately. You are the third friend to have a bad bug invade their computers over the holiday. One had emails going out about her being stranded in Manila and needing money as she had been robbed. Second time that scam hijacked her contacts list.

    If I didn't get in on your drawing, is there still time? I would love to help lighten your load so you don't have to move so much.

  5. I'm sure you have a great sense of relief that both parents are in a happier place now; that takes a little of the stress off you.

    Oh dear, I've had computer woes myself and it is just awful when we lose information, hope you are able to recover most all you had. However, it still isn't fun getting used to new technology.

    Have fun with mom and sharing the joy of handiwork.
