~~~~~
Mom is doing okay
with the loss of her sister
we have spent much time remembering her
We had a good time at the quilt show yesterday
a few fabric purchases...
Mom loved all the vendors!
there was a wide variety of quilts
heavy on the modern and bright
who knew
sparkly thread was so popular?
It was a hot day so between the 2 visits with Dad
the quilt show
and plenty of driving
we were both done in early
I dropped Mom off at 6 pm
went back out hit one grocery store
this morning I was up early to work on
cleaning up the garage
then to a different grocery store
back home to get Mom
to visit Dad...
my two days off go fast
so this afternoon it's been
naps and more work in the garage
I know, I know
my life is so exciting...
You just crack me up with your cat pictures, especially the first one! I have a long haired cat that throws up all the time too, but her's isn't hairballs, since she was starving once she just have this instinct to over eat, then up it comes.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you had a nice day with your mom.
Melinda
Sounds like a good weekend. Am sorry about your Aunt Ruth. The cat pictures were fun. Hang in there. xo
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, love the kitty quotes and pictures, great........sorry to hear about your Mom's Sis,......The quilt show would be wonderful to go to, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Aunt Ruth will be hovering over you as you quilt and stitch. When in a pickle just ask her what to do and the intuition will come from her.
ReplyDeleteLove your kitty pictures. I used to have a Siamese - two actually, one was named Pyewacket after the cat in the movie Bell Book and Candle and then her paternal father Taiwan. Love those felines a lot.
Dearest Kelley,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for the loss of your aunt Ruth. I hope you can find a little time here and there to stitch or hook and refresh your creative soul. Thinking of you daily and keeping you all in my prayers. Take care my friend. Hugs, Lori
Each day, in our lives we make a thousand choices. Yours are the type that refine the soul. Bless you, god will be there in time of need.
ReplyDeleteNap when you can, sleep deprivation makes it all the harder. Melrose and Olivia, watch over your mom, and don't wake her for something frivolous, like breakfast!
Hugs!
