Mom...

last night Mom broke her hip...surgery will be later today or tomorrow...no room available so she is still in ER...I spent the night and have been home for a few hours trying to get  bit of sleep...she's been wonderfully brave through all the pain...

  5. It has been about 10 years since my mom broke her hip. After the surgery,keep up with the physical therapy because that's how she will regain her ability to walk. My thoughts are with you, Mary A

  23. When it rains it pours! A broken hip is definitely salt in the wound, for all that has been going on.

    As we age, we become so much more vulnerable, and fragile, and our senses less sharp. That just sucks!

    My heart is filled with prayers for you and your parents, and guilt at having been away from your blog for so long. School started, Livvie got the flu, And so on... I hope you are as strong as you sound in your postings. Cyber Hug
