Mom is 91 today...
since she's been battling the respiratory infection
we're going low key for now
we'll have a "big" celebration
when Deb and Frank visit
a few presents
a little cake
I'll spend the day
something special for me to remember
when I receive a text
my phone is set for a short whistle
Mom always replies to it
"same to you"
cracks me up every time
I sure love her!

Kelley, Give your Mom a big hug from me. I am also a Capricorn although I haven't made it to her age yet. Both my parents are 91 and we are going through the stress of dealing with housing issues. Your blog keeps me hopeful.
Tell your mom, I said Happy Birthday and wish my mind wasn't so befuddled, and I remembered to send her a little surprise. I hope she feels better soon.
