Chair Pad 2 Progress

I hope you like red Debbie!
tried a dark mix background and it didn't work
 I think this one does

if you click on the pics
you can see I'm a pretty wonky hooker
always have been
always will be

this probably stems from when I was
learning to hook at Barb Carroll's...
one of the ladies had to have everything perfect
she was hooking prim designs
with Barb's excellent color planning
but each rug looked like it was machine made
 from then on
I concentrated on color and not loops

there's nothing wrong with perfect hooking
it's just not me

soon I'll be ready for #3
green star maybe...

I have to mention my Talon frame
it has absolutely spoiled me
I tried to hook a little something on my small
well loved and used frame
nope
now I have to stitch some small designs together
so the linen will stretch across the large Talon
love it!

Love your hooking and the colors you choose! Not to mention how soft those wool strips are! Debbie is going to enjoy these for many years to come!
Thanks for the tip on stitching PATTERNS together to fit the frame... I have quite a few smaller patterns that don't fit on my floor frame... and I did not want to stitch (waste) fabric to them to fit the frame! Stitching patterns together will probably help to get MORE hooking done too!

I have always loved your hooking, Kelley Girl...wonky or not. The colors and the piece as a whole has always been something to admire. xo
