I don't even own a tree
in the move all my prim green and brown trees
were donated to ReStore
only so much could fit in Mom's house...
for now I dream of vintage ornaments
especially garlands
and birds...
at Christmas
I am a huge fan of shiny and gaudy
mixing the sparkle with the prim
how about you
do you step out of your normal style
for Christmas decorating?
wishing you a beautiful day
I drove home in freezing rain and crappy roads last night
so cold and snow

Good morning, Kelley. I have down-sized to a small tree and a very small tree. LOL I have misplaced ALL of my homemade ornaments in my garage, so have purchased some of the small glass ones to fit the trees. I like the ones that are molded like Santas and snowmen and penguins. And I LOVE those vintage ornaments...definitely a mix at my house.
I love all the old vintage ornaments. Decorating Auntie's tree is like a walk down memory lane. Seems like every old ornament has a story.
No big trees for me, just small ones in different styles.
I seem to be into greens and lights this year, no as much in ornaments, but I do put a few on my larger table top tree.

I decorate with what I love, pretty eclectic I am :)
I go with my heart and what makes me & my family happy ~
fresh greens, faux greens, sparkly vintage & primitive too! it all works if we love it, right?

Looks like I'll be making a trip in this crap snow to the Antique mall! Thanks a lot! The first box of berries is a treasure. I prefer the dull finish primitives but on sparse feather trees, exactly what you've shown.
That first box or ornaments is absolutely wonderful. I'd love a tree full of them.
Merry, merry :)
