this blue basket
inspired the hooking for the Flag and Flowers rug
the colors in the rug here are true
two different filters
to try and get the colors right
real colors are somewhere in between
two wools made up the background
another rug to keep
this went on the frame just now
Hooking some smaller rugs
to try out colors for some larger ones in my stash...
No Spend on Supplies 2019

nearing the end of the 4th month
there are a few things I want
but nothing I need

vicarious thrills and all that

Wow, you hooked that one up rather quickly. Guess these were in your pattern stash, eh? You can't live vicariously thru me as I haven't purchased anything rug hooking related in 2 - 3 months. But guess it was in 2019 so you have me beat.
Your wool colors are beautiful. Thanks for sharing, and showing the wool used. I can't wait to see the next one.
I have not bought anything wool related this year, but let's not discuss cotton for quilting.
I just love the colors for this pretty rug !
I am trying to finish projects before I buy anything new to work on , there is a Wool & Fiber show on Saturday , but need money for my gardens instead , so will try not to think about going !!!
Your background is two of my favorite wools.
So far in 2019 I purchased Rudie and 5-6 other patterns and more wool than I care to admit...sigh.
Great, fast finish on Cammie’s pattern.
Absolutely gorgeous....I love it all.....it’s a summer time fun design.....the basket itself is beautiful, I just love that blue....now I need to drag out a basket and paint...😀 great job at Hooking from stash.....I have only bought one pattern in 2019 trying to work from stash as well.....love the background colors you used.....
Absolutely love this sweet mat,,,
Lovely wools,,,
Nice small ones are great ,,,,
I cleaned my rug hooking room just before Christmas and put myself on a spending freeze for the first 6 months of the new year. There is lots I would like but I have been good I have more projects than I will ever get to.

Beautiful basket...and you captured the blues and dark golds wonderfully. You hook so pretty. Well, I have been quite good at not buying much rug hooking related items as I haven’t yet located my hooking mojo.... But I confess I did purchase a hook (made from an old tool handle)...and just recently, I actually purchased a new Edyth O’Neill pattern. I have like 3 hooking projects already started, but though maybe the thought of a new one in the wings would give me a little inspirational “push.” Now, cross stitch supplies.... OYE....that is a horse of an entirely different color....I’ve purchased more linen and patterns than I even want to admit to myself..... ~Robin~
PS...love those background wools...they combine so well!!
