one of the false startswas the wool on the left
over dyed and not quite
the right shade
looks a little too green
so I dug through all my containers of wool
and found the perfect as-is yardage
hundreds of skeins of light, bright and ugly flossover dyed with RIT tan dye
and wound on to my frugal spools
(some were gifted to me-some cut from cards I've received)
ready for punching and stitching
Melrose still likes this cozy warm spot
when he's sound asleep Olivia sneaks up
to sniff his paws and tail
poised to run if he wakes up though...
