Twiddle, Fiddle, Fidget

way beyond off the deep end here

I've gathered what little I have at home

armed with coupons

I'll start a little shopping for supplies today

before work

all the things I never look at

ribbons, ric rac, beads, colorful everything...

 shiny, crinkly, fluffy

between patients at work last night

I was pinning like crazy

two other "dementia daughters"

from mom's facility are excited to start too

a coworker is going to have her church group make some

for the 3 nursing homes they visit monthly

regular creating will take a back seat for a while

this new passion

has definitely lifted my spirits for the new year!

 

Restless Fingers

it started as a Pinterest search for 

muff directions

just wanted to make sure my plans were correct

a slight detour to twiddle muffs

and I'm gone...

 

a little fiddle blanket

has been on my to do list for years

all these amazing pieces

have me raring to go

can't knit or crochet

so mine will all be fabric and do-dads...

even the dreaded zippers

these look like fun

I know a few dozen folks who would 

get a lot of use out them 

as I've been cleaning up my sewing room

small things are set aside for mats and muffs

 this is one time

sewing on the machine will not be boring

for now I'm doing bits and pieces here and there

with no specific plan

will share photos  

when they start to come together
