Quilt Blocks and No Buy

the nine patch blocks are going together nicely with the alternating blocks...one more row to stitch before they go together then a narrow red border and a pieced wide one...other than a handful of the smaller squares this quilt has been made from my stash of fabrics that's been around here for years...and of course it hasn't made a dent...

in the past month or so I've been buying books and fabric again and have added to the stash...so I set today as the date for a 6 month No Buy on supplies for of things handmade...I think books are going to be the hardest to resist...

Chester hopped on the footstool to see what I was doing and got distracted by a bird flying by outside...if it was a chipmunk out there we'd be seeing his tail in the picture...
