was kind enough to issue the members of PRHG
a rug hooking challenge...
there were two patterns available
you got to pick, sight unseen...
and if you finished your first one
and sent in a photo by a certain date...
you got the second pattern too!
who could resist?
The snowman was my first choice...
I tweaked it just a bit...
I hooked this one as a gift
for my sister Deb for Christmas...
she loves the birds and the trees
this one is
The Old Rugged Cross
title of my favorite song from church
this was a gift for Mom for Christmas...
Many heartfelt thanks to Maria for her generous gift
of patterns to the group...
and time spent sorting and shipping the worms we sent in

What lucky family you have to receive such wonderful gifts from you! I love what you did with the snowman pattern. The colors are gorgeous!

When can I be your adopted Sister? :) Love both rugs & you added such charm to each!!
Hey Kelley...I was getting a bit worried about you, as it'd been so long since your last blog post. Whew. But, I see you've been very busy doing what you do best...producing those wonderfully primitive rugs! Great job on both and as always, I love your sense of color. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Kelley: The PRHG rugs are great and I like what you did with both of yours! What fun! : ) Hope the kitties are doing well too and haven't made off with lots of your "goodies"!!!
Happy New Year! Sunnie : )
