Work in Progress

First it was Ginger

with her needlepunch frames...

( I bought one and love it)

and all the great pumpkins she hooks

Then it was Betty

and her pumpkin patch of little guys

for her show

I couldn't resist

and got sidetracked

from all my other pieces~

After the photo these got a dye bath

and are drying in the sun~

To sell, to keep

to give away...who knows...

What I do know

is there are four more

on the frame right now

in various stages of punching

The very same Debbie

who stitched my great fall quilt

has been very busy...

Her latest wool mat is as prim as can be

these two squirrels are irresistable!

Kelley,
How neat, especially the one on its side, i think it could be a stocking? Maybe cause that is what i want it to be.

Kelley, your punchneedle pumpkins are adorable. I was lucky enough to see Betty's in person and how cute they are! She was working on punch ornies at the last hook-in she came to. Our weather now is perfect "early fall" and your pumpkins fit right in.

Have i got it right? You punch them...then dunk them in the dye pots? Then out to the sun to dry?
Right?
Thanks for the info.

Enjoyed reading your blog and seeing your works...they're great! Would like to hear about the frame you use for punch needle. I'm a puncher myself but still looking for just the right hoop/frame. Thanks!
