Resisting Temptation

I know I don't need any more fabric

I've packed and stacked
enough to last my lifetime
over the past few weeks...

So why do I keep thinking
about this piece?
The one I don't have
from an older line
that will soon
be unavailable...

Should I keep resisting?
or break down
and purchase a yard or two...

but what if I really need three?

~dear friends~
~please give me some guidance~

This makes me laugh. When I am struggling with a similar dilemma I think of the projects I will create with the fabric. If I cannot find just the right project I do not complete the purchase. If I know I can create something wonderful I make the purchase. THat is why I have so many patterns, books & fabric. Ah the best of intentions.

If you were waiting for someone to talk you out of it, I don't see that happening LOL. Just go ahead and buy it :)

Knowing how much is enough is the first step in the recovery of being a hoarder. Sorry ya'll. I just do not believe that more means better. Get busy with what you already have and be happy with it. It is the wanting that makes it desirable. Once you have it, it will go into the stash just like everything else you have not used yet.

I think it's unanimous! Hurry and buy it before it's gone!
