MomI dearly wish that at 87
I'll still be happiest when stitching...
taking care of Dad is a full time job
she doesn't get nearly enough time
to sit and enjoy herself
but nothing brings a smile to her face

faster than seeing me pull a new
quilt magazine or some fabric out of my tote...
with the latest quilt for me
pressed and ready to be quilted
she's been sewing 4" squares together
something simple and mindless
busy hands, happy heart

Your mom is a beauty and wow she doesn't look her age. I'm sure she does love seeing those treasures of quilting goodies....I hope at 87 I'm still enjoying handwork.
Kelley Girl...Your Mom is beautiful! Me Mum continues to knit and crochet at 80...hope she is able to keep it up for a long time yet, as it makes her happy to be creating something!
